Rob Drummond is an award winning published playwright, performer and director who has worked with the most prestigious theatres in the UK. His wide ranging work includes CATS award winning play for young audiences, Mr Write (National Theatre of Scotland), Rob Drummond: Wrestling (The Arches), for which he trained as a professional wrestler, the multi award winning Bullet Catch (The Arches), for which he trained as a magician and Quiz Show (The Traverse), which won a CATS award for best new play in 2013. Bullet Catch enjoyed sell out runs in London, New York, Sydney, Wellington and Vancouver and Rob is now writing new commissions for four of the UK’s top theatres, The Traverse, The National Theatre of Scotland, The Royal Court and the National Theatre of Great Britain. This year Rob brings his new show In Fidelity (High Tide) to the Edinburgh Festival, writes the script for the stage version of The Broons (Sell A Door) and opens Grain In The Blood at the Traverse. Uncanny Valley (Borderline/The Gaiety/Edinburgh International Science Festival) has just won a CATS award for best new play for children and young audiences for 2016.
