Michael Brady & Richard Gregory

Michael Brady and Richard Gregory have been friends for 34 years. They bonded over a teenage love of music, football, and an annual promise to one day walk the Pennine Way. Back then, neither of them imagined themselves doing what they do now.

Michael is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Glasgow, with research interests in the philosophy of emotion, ethics, and epistemology. His book on these themes – Emotional Insight – was published by Oxford University Press in 2013. He has worked as a philosophical advisor on a number of Quarantine projects.

Richard is an Artistic Director of Quarantine. Quarantine works all over the world and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading contemporary theatre companies. Their first piece, Seesaw, was commissioned by Tramway and performed there in 2000. They have a long relationship with Glasgow, presenting work at Tramway, CCA and The Arches.
